Lenten Conversations: Creativity as a Way of Life - Virtual Program

Creativity isn’t something we have or don’t have. It’s something we’re in relationship with.

Relationships require attention. They change. We neglect them. We return to them. Sometimes we trust them; sometimes we don’t. Sometimes we try to control them. And sometimes we have to listen without knowing what comes next.

Imagine your creativity as a relationship in your life. How would you describe that relationship right now? Much of daily life pulls us toward constant output, gradually dulling our capacity to notice, engage with, or utilize the creative instincts within us. Lent invites a pause.

In this one-hour virtual gathering, we’ll slow down, write from a few simple prompts, and explore what’s happening in our own creative lives. There will be time to share what you’re discovering with the group—or you can simply listen.

Think of this as an easy encounter with your creative life—and whatever might be calling to you.

No artistic background is needed. All creative orientations, belief systems, and spiritual paths are welcome.
