GENESIS: Sacred Story of Birth and Rebirth - A Virtual Retreat
With Diarmuid O'Murchu, MSC
February 6 - 8, 2026
What if life’s deepest mysteries are always inviting us to be born anew?
This retreat invites participants to enter a sacred space of reflection and renewal with Fr. Diarmuid O’Murchu, international author and spiritual guide, who has graced Genesis with his wisdom since the early 1990s.
Across the weekend, we will open ourselves to two interwoven themes:
Gratitude for the Journey So Far – celebrating the grace of our shared heritage, honoring the countless companions and visionaries who have breathed life into Genesis, and acknowledging the enduring spiritual gifts handed down through decades of faithful presence.
Hope for What Is Yet to Come – engaging the challenges that many retreat centers now face, while discerning how Spirit calls us to reimagine, re-energize, and carry forward the vision entrusted to us. Together, we will reflect on how birth and rebirth are intertwined in every sacred story, and how communities of faith and contemplation can continue to be vital sources of wisdom for the future.
Both reflective and forward-looking, this retreat is an opportunity to pause, to give thanks, and to imagine—courageously and prayerfully—how new life can emerge even in uncertain times.
