With Donna O'Connor and Mike Smoolca
February 19, 2025
Envision a space where science and spiritual insight meet, transforming your body into a channel for sacred knowledge. Join us for a transformative journey of self-discovery with our BioSpiritual Focusing 10-week book study and practicum. Delve into the profound insights of Fr. Peter A. Campbell and Fr. Edwin M. McMahon’s groundbreaking work, Rediscovering the Lost Body-Connection Within Christian Spirituality. This immersive experience promises to unlock the sacred story hidden within your own body, revealing the subtle movements of grace that shape your life.
“May their inward eyes be illumined, so that they may know the hope to which they are called.” (Ephesians 1:18-19)
Each evening, we will highlight key topics of specific chapters and include a group discussion on these topics and chapters. We will also offer actual focusing sessions led by experienced companions. Over the course of this study, you will become more aware of the sacred story you carry in your own body and the movement of grace in your life.
Prerequisite: Basic familiarity with BioSpiritual Focusing is necessary and prior participation in a BioSpiritual Focusing: Day of Presence or multi-day Retreat is recommended.
You will also need to have a copy of Rediscovering the Lost Body-Connection Within Christian Spirituality.
This program will meet weekly via Zoom from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm beginning on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 and concluding on Wednesday, April 23, 2024. The sessions will be recorded and distributed after each meeting.
This program will be facilitated by Donna O’Connor and Mike Smoolca.
