The holidays are portrayed as a time of joy and celebration, but they represent a difficult time of year for family caregivers. The expectations of family traditions, gatherings, travel, and creating meaningful moments collide with exhaustion, grief, financial stress, changing family roles, difficult relationships, and the daily realities of caring for someone who may be ill, frail, or living with dementia. What once felt familiar and joyful now feels overwhelming, complicated, or simply impossible.

This retreat is a gentle day of reflection, renewal, and connection designed for anyone navigating the emotional weight of caregiving during this holiday season. Together we’ll explore chronic stress, family expectations, grief, worries, changing traditions, and the pressure to hold everything together while creating space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. You’ll have an opportunity to release what no longer needs to be carried, reclaim meaningful memories, and discover ways to approach the holidays with greater clarity, compassion, and peace.
